Senior Spine Animator (Twognation)

We are looking for a Senior Spine Animator to bring characters, UI, and game elements to life through high-quality, expressive animations.
In this role, you will own the creation and implementation of animations for a real-time, interactive product, ensuring they are both visually engaging and technically optimized. You will
work closely with illustrators, designers, and developers to deliver smooth, responsive animations that enhance gameplay and player experience.
Responsibilities:
● Create dynamic character animations (including idle, attack, abilities, and emotions) along with UI elements, visual effects, and transitions.
● Convey distinct personalities through movement, posing, and expert timing to ensure characters feel "alive" and readable.
● Prepare animation assets for real-time rendering, ensuring they meet performance and memory constraints.
● Collaborate with illustrators to ensure assets are animation-ready, including rigging, layering, and following naming conventions.
● Work with front-end developers to support correct animation integration, state machines, triggers, and transitions.
● Maintain animation consistency across multiple markets or configurations, and iterate on work based on technical and design feedback.
● Provide input on animation scope, complexity, and delivery estimates.
Requirements:
● Extensive hands-on experience using Spine in a production environment for games or interactive products.
● A deep understanding of 2D and classical animation principles, including timing, easing, anticipation, anatomy, and movement.
● Knowledge of real-time animation constraints.
● Experience working with structured asset pipelines and complex, layered illustration files.
● A high degree of accuracy and a focus on detail in all animation work.
● Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams alongside designers and developers.
● A strong portfolio demonstrating Spine-based animation work, specifically focused on real-time or game environments.
● Experience in iGaming industry
