Type of contract: 30 hours Indefinite (Monday- Friday) - standard shifts from 09.00 to 20.00

About the role
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Fundraising Agents to join our team of inspiring people to support Greenpeace’s mission for a green and peaceful future. As a Fundraising Agent, you will engage with current and potential supporters primarily through outbound phone calls, and when necessary, through face to face interactions at events or in the field. You will play a key role in expanding our base of individual donors, ensuring data accuracy, and contributing to the overall success of our fundraising efforts.
This is a dynamic, people focused position suited to those who enjoy speaking directly with individuals, have strong communication skills, and are driven by results and purpose.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Telefundraising – supporter outreach:
- Engage potential donors through outbound telephone calls, following pre-planned scripts aimed at informing supporters about the progress of the campaign
- Clearly communicate Greenpeace’s mission and campaigns to the supporters, having the organisation's fundraising needs in mind
- Persuade potential donors to become recurring donors
- Follow up with previous donors to encourage renewed support
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly fundraising targets
- Conduct surveys on donor preferences and experience
DDC (Direct dialogue campaigning):
- Conduct face to face fundraising
- Participate in events or street fundraising actions to speak directly with the public when needed.
- Represent Greenpeace in a positive, respectful, and professional manner
Data Entry & Reporting:
- Record donor and call outcomes
- Handle donor inquiries and provide customer service
- Maintain detailed call logs and follow-up schedules
- Perform administrative tasks related to telephone calls (sending welcome kits, follow- up email, updating procedures, updating the CRM)
- Ensure all information is entered in compliance with GDPR and Greenpeace’s data protection
General Duties:
- Participate in staff meetings, meetings with Greenpeace Greece campaigners, Fundraising team and/or Engagement team, as well as evaluation meetings
- Stay informed about GP’s activities through initial training and regularly keep up-to-date with the latest news.
- Contribute to the improvement of scripts, tools, and fundraising approaches.
- Support any related tasks relevant to the role, as directed by the FR Coordinator.
- Provide administrative support and act as Secretariat replacement when necessary.
Selection Criteria
- High School Diploma.
- Fluency in Greek and English both oral and written.
- Prior working experience in an NGO or a call center is an asset.
