🧑‍💻 About the role

As an AI/ML researcher, you’ll explore new ways in which AI and ML can improve product discovery in ecommerce. Your will:

• Build prototypes of new search technologies, recommender systems and LLM systems
• Design, run and analyze experiments at scale
• Collaborate with great engineering teams and product managers to make the biggest possible impact for the whole company
• Learn state of the art science and think how it can improve our products
• Handle projects at an impressive scale, processing thousands of requests per second.

💻 Tech you’ll work with

• Python, Gradient Boosting Trees, Neural networks, LLMs, Bandits/reinforcement learning, and many more
• AWS, ML Flow, Langfuse, PySpark, and whatever else you will bring in

💫 What makes you a great fit

Must haves

• General knowledge of contemporary ML and statistics
• Python coding skills sufficient to deliver efficient prototypes and data analyses
• Ability to understand a technical or business problem, suggest solutions and evaluate them using data
• Open to learn new technologies and science topics

Nice to haves

• Experience with NLP tasks and/or LLMs and agentic systems
• Experience with real-world production ML/AI systems
• Experience with delivering ML/AI solutions to production
