About the role
We are looking for a Junior Account Manager to join our Account Management team and help us build strong, long-term relationships with our clients.
In this role, you will work closely with our existing clients, helping them get the most value from BONARD's products and services. You will support client onboarding, communication, platform demonstrations, training, and ongoing account management, while working closely with our Research and Business Development teams.
As you develop in the role, you will gradually take ownership of selected client accounts and manage these relationships independently.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organised, and wants to develop their career in B2B account management, client success, and business development.
What you will do
- Manage client relationships: Support existing clients as a reliable point of contact, maintain regular communication, follow up on requests, and help build strong, long-term relationships.
- Support client success: Help with onboarding, training, platform use, and client engagement. Monitor client needs and feedback and help ensure clients get the most value from BONARD's products and services.
- Support retention & growth: Take part in retention and renewal activities and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts. The role does not carry responsibility for new-business sales, but you may support Sales in relevant client meetings.
- Coordinate internally: Work closely with Research, Business Development, Sales, International Education, Marketing, Accounting, and other teams to coordinate client requests and ensure smooth follow-up.
- Support meetings & events: Participate in client calls and meetings, gradually taking the lead in regular account-management meetings. Support onboarding sessions, webinars, client meetings, and industry events.
- Track account health: Maintain accurate client information and activities in HubSpot and use Excel to monitor subscriber health, including platform engagement, Research team interaction, event participation, frequency of contact, and overall engagement.
- Reporting & follow-up: Support account reviews and reporting and ensure client requests, commitments, and follow-up actions are properly tracked.
- Improve how we work: Be open to new ideas and different ways of working, including AI and automation, and contribute ideas that can improve the client experience and the future development of the Account Management team.
What we are looking for
- 2 years of experience in account management, customer success, client service, sales support, sales, or another client-facing role.
- Interest in real estate, investment, research, and data, with the ability and motivation to quickly build market knowledge.
- Experience with B2B clients, SaaS, platforms, subscriptions, or professional services is a big plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural, confident, personable, and proactive approach.
- Creative and commercially minded, with a genuine interest in building and maintaining professional relationships.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities and client requests.
- Good presentation skills and confidence communicating with clients in English at C1 level, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Interest in markets and a willingness to actively develop your knowledge of the industries BONARD covers.
- Experience with HubSpot and Excel and an interest in AI, automation, or process improvement are advantages.
- Additional languages are a strong advantage.
