Finance Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Coordinator to support our Finance Director and manage key financial processes. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance and grow with a dynamic international team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Invoicing, Collections & Payments

  • Prepare and send invoices to clients
  • Track payments, manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Manage the process of collections
  • Handle client requests related to payments In regard to invoicing and related supplier onboarding processes

2. Accounting Support

  • Cooperate with accountants and ensure timely submission of financial documents
  • Assist with salaries, business travel, and bank statement reconciliations
  • Check and prepare accounting-related documents

3. Communication & Reporting

  • Handle finance-related inquiries from employees
  • Handle internal and external finance communications
  • Assist with financial reporting and analysis for management
  • Ensure compliance with financial laws and internal procedures

Please note that this role is a maternity leave cover.

Who we are looking for

  • Previous experience in finance at least 1-2 years
  • University degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals (no need to be an accountant)
  • Ability to interpret financial statements
  • Experience in financial analysis is a plus
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills
  • Advanced English (B2/C1) and native Slovak
  • Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and responsible
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
