Strategic Partnership Manager

We’re looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to identify, build, and close strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and expand Eliq’s footprint across the European energy market.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will own the execution of Eliq’s partnership strategy, identifying, negotiating, and managing high-impact partnerships with energy technology providers, platforms, and ecosystem partners. You will also help build the operational frameworks and processes for this growing function while maintaining strong alignment with leadership and go-to-market teams.
This role can be performed remotely within Europe (EU ±1 hour timezone).
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop strategic partnerships across the European energy ecosystem (energy technology, flexibility providers, billing/CRM platforms, and digital energy platforms).
- Drive partnerships end-to-end, from initial discussions through commercial negotiations and contract signature.
- Develop joint value propositions and co-sell motions with partners in collaboration with Sales (AEs), Product, and Marketing teams.
- Own partnership revenue outcomes, including quota, driving measurable commercial impact and scaling partnership-generated ARR over time.
- Manage a portfolio of partners, each supporting multiple utility customer projects.
- Build and manage a strong partnership pipeline, identifying high-potential ecosystem partners that accelerate Eliq’s growth.
- Provide market insights and shape partnership frameworks, helping define how Eliq evaluates, prioritises, and operationalises strategic partnerships.
About You
- 7+ years of partnerships, business development, or commercial experience in the energy utility sector, ideally within a technology or SaaS vendor environment.
- Proven track record closing enterprise partnerships and contracts (€50k+) with utilities or energy companies.
- Strong ability to identify, develop, and close strategic partnerships through structured commercial negotiations.
- Skilled at partner discovery and value articulation, understanding partner strategy, navigating objections, and quantifying financial impact.
- Experience owning partnerships end-to-end, from opportunity identification through negotiation to revenue delivery.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing to drive aligned partnership plans and commercial outcomes.
- Comfortable working across European energy markets, including regional travel, with a strong awareness of energy transition opportunities.
