Eliq is looking for a Product Builder, a hybrid role focused on turning ambiguous opportunities into validated, high-impact product concepts.

This is an upstream product role. You accelerate new value creation by discovering problems worth solving, shaping strong concepts, and validating them before they enter the roadmap. Using modern AI tools for synthesis, prototyping, and experimentation, you move from signal → concept → evidence in weeks, not months.

Responsibilities

• Discover new opportunities through customer conversations, product data, and close collaboration with Sales and Client Success.
• Translate insights into clear problem statements and opportunity areas worth exploring.
• Shape early concepts into strong user journeys, value propositions, MVP definitions, and clearly defined assumptions.
• Run fast validation cycles (1–4 weeks), including interviews, prototype tests, smoke tests, and lightweight experiments.
• Define success criteria and measurable evidence before scaling initiatives further.
• Deliver clear, evidence-based recommendations: proceed, pivot, or pause.
• Package validated concepts into structured handover briefs for Product Managers, who own prioritization and delivery.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in product management, venture building, innovation roles, or startup environments.
• Proven track record of taking ambiguous ideas from early exploration to validated product concepts.
• Strong discovery skills, including qualitative interviewing and quantitative analysis.
• Experience designing and running hypothesis-driven experiments.
• Ability to define MVP scope and prioritize assumptions and risks.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to assess value potential and business impact early.
• Comfortable using AI tools for research synthesis, prototyping, and accelerating workflows.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence without formal authority.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and operating in short, fast validation cycles.

On the product side, you will work closely with our data platform, AI-driven insights, and consumer-facing energy solutions, helping us expand our impact in the energy transition and strengthen our position as a leading data-driven advisory platform for utilities.
