Tech Designer – AAA Action Game (New IP) 

Be part of an extraordinary journey with a team of seasoned industry veterans. Backed by a global publishing powerhouse, we are developing a fast-paced, action game based on a completely original IP. Our teams in Prague, Brno, and Bratislava are seeking a passionate designer with scripting experience. 

As a Technical Designer, you’ll bridge design and engineering, shaping gameplay features that bring our action-packed vision to life. 

What does a Tech Designer do? 

• Use Unreal Engine tools and visual scripting to transform high-level designs into playable prototypes that capture the essence of the game.
• Explore various implementation approaches to find the best one.
• Work closely with designers, engineers, and artists to implement, refine and polish gameplay systems and mechanics.
• Identify and resolve design and implementation challenges to fulfil the designer's vision.
• Act as a technical coordinator between design and programming to ensure clear communication and alignment on goals

What We’re Looking For: 

• 1+ years of game development experience.
• Strong understanding and passion for game design.
• Great proficiency with Unreal Engine and visual scripting in blueprints. C++ experience is a plus.
• Overview of what Unreal Engine offers. So that all the Engine's resources are used when prototyping.
• Experience with multiplayer games is a plus
• Knowledge of limitations and performance costs of various implementation methods.
• Finding a common language between design and engineering
• Ability to articulate ideas and collaborate across disciplines
