About the role:

As an Earth Observation Specialist, you will:

• Implement functionalities created by other Earth Observation Engineers/Consultants
• Debug, refine, and rewrite code to optimize performance
• Transform scientific ideas into functional code, understanding how to accurately implement complex geospatial and scientific concepts
• Collaborate with engineers to build large-scale features
• Share expertise to enhance engineering standards, tools, and processes
• Research and apply industry insights to ensure the feasibility of new functionalities
• Design and develop platform components using Google Earth Engine and Python
• Test, validate, and document results for team understanding and peer review
• Publish solutions and integrate them into the platform
• Work with the growth team to create content for the website and social media
• Present at company webinars to showcase our work

We are looking for someone, who has:

• Experience with Google Earth Engine and remote sensing;
• Experience with carbon market and/or deforestation is a big plus;
• At least 2 years of experience with Python;
• Fluent English – at least B2+ level (CEFR scale);
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work schedule;
• Ready and eager to work in a startup environment :)

How does our recruitment process look like?

2. Then, you will get short task to solve!
3. Later, you will meet online with our EO Engineers and talk about your task.
4. The final stage is a meeting with our CEO - Jakub and Chief Operating Officer - Ewelina. :)
