Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. This pivotal role combines individual lead generation responsibilities with informal leadership duties, offering a unique opportunity to grow into a formal "Outbound Lead" or SDR Team Lead position. The ideal candidate has a strong B2B SaaS background, excels in cold outreach, and thrives on coaching others to achieve team success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cold Outreach Leadership

  • Execute and manage all forms of cold B2B outreach, including email, LinkedIn, and phone calls.
  • Leverage automation tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of outreach efforts.
  • Set an example by consistently achieving or exceeding individual lead generation quotas.
  • Experiment with and optimize messaging strategies to improve engagement, response rates, and discovery call scheduling.
  • Serve as a resource and informal leader to junior SDRs, providing guidance and sharing best practices in outreach and engagement.

2. Lead Sourcing & Data Enrichment

  • Utilize tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and CRM platforms for high-quality lead sourcing and data enrichment.
  • Maintain and oversee accurate data entry in the CRM, ensuring leads are up-to-date and aligned with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Train junior SDRs on effective sourcing and data management techniques.

3. Lead Qualification & Coaching

  • Personally qualify leads based on ICP criteria, ensuring quality handoffs to Account Executives (AEs).
  • Monitor and support junior SDRs in their qualification processes, offering feedback to improve lead quality.
  • Help develop team-wide qualification standards and processes that drive consistent results.

4. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing

  • Act as a bridge between SDRs, AEs, and Marketing teams to align on lead generation strategies.
  • Provide insights and feedback to marketing on campaign performance and lead quality.
  • Facilitate collaboration with AEs for smooth lead handoffs and follow-ups.

5. Metrics Tracking & Performance Reporting

  • Own key performance metrics such as qualification rates, conversion rates, and deals generated through cold outreach.
  • Analyze team metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven strategies.
  • Report individual and team performance to management, with actionable recommendations for optimization.

6. Team Mentorship & Growth

  • Act as a mentor and coach for junior SDRs, providing ongoing support in skill development and goal achievement.
  • Lead by example, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
  • Take ownership of training new hires and introducing them to outreach tools, processes, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 3+ years as an SDR in a B2B SaaS environment, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience mentoring or coaching team members, even informally.
  • Skills: Exceptional cold outreach skills across email, LinkedIn, and calls; strong familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Metrics-Driven: Comfortable with analyzing performance data and using insights to drive improvements.
  • Growth-Oriented: Eager to step into a formal leadership role in the near future.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and provide constructive feedback.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a focus on team success and alignment with company goals.
