Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Lead Generation Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage a variety of databases, including industry-specific associations, market-targeted lists, and other strategic data sources, to identify and cultivate high-quality leads. You will play a key role in enhancing the sales pipeline by employing advanced lead generation techniques and tools, optimizing data-driven insights, and working collaboratively with sales and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation Strategy: Design and execute comprehensive lead generation strategies utilizing multiple databases, including associations, market-specific lists, CRM data, and other specialized industry sources to identify high-potential prospects.
  • Quality vs. Quantity Management: Balancing the need to meet lead volume targets while maintaining high-quality prospect standards. Develop efficient screening methods to maintain both quantity and quality metrics.
  • Database Utilization: Expertly navigate and extract valuable insights from a range of databases and lead generation tools, including but not limited to trade association memberships, industry-specific directories, and region-specific databases.
  • Targeted Prospecting: Conduct deep-dive research using various data sources to segment and prioritize leads based on industry, company size, location, decision-maker profiles, and other key criteria.
  • Data Enrichment and Validation: Maintain data integrity by ensuring accurate and up-to-date lead information through regular verification and enrichment of databases, enhancing lead quality and increasing the conversion rate.
  • Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align lead generation efforts with broader organizational objectives, ensuring seamless handoff of qualified leads for effective follow-up.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on lead generation metrics and database effectiveness to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
  • Lead Qualification & Nurturing: Utilize advanced qualification techniques, including leveraging data insights, to assess lead quality and ensure they align with company objectives before passing them to sales.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in lead generation, prospecting, and utilizing databases such as industry-specific associations, market lists, and other specialized resources.
  • Strong knowledge of lead generation tools, CRM systems (we use HubSpot), and data management platforms.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills to identify and target the right prospects from multiple data sources.
  • Ability to segment and prioritize prospects based on key criteria such as company size, industry, and decision-maker roles.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in managing and validating lead data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in lead generation, prospecting, and utilizing databases such as industry-specific associations, market lists, and other specialized resources.
  • Experience with advanced data analytics tools and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Background in working with specialized databases for niche industries or markets.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation systems and lead scoring models.
  • Background in SaaS and/or sustainability is a big plus
